About Us

We are a family owned and operated organic farm in Upcountry Maui, committed to sustainability, food security, and community transformation. With an emphasis on crop diversification and incorporating native species into the landscape, we have planted over 500 trees and counting. In addition to a wide variety of  fruit trees, we also cultivate flower, herb, and vegetable gardens. Our nursery hosts hundreds of species of succulents and ornamental plants, as well as starts for your garden.

Regenerative agriculture is more than a method, it’s a way to heal the land, uplift the community, and rekindle our connection with nature. By using practices that rebuild soil health, conserve resources, and honor traditional knowledge, we aim to cultivate a resilient, abundant future for generations to come.

Mahalo to Kumu Tina Kekoolani for blessing us with the name Kapuakukui,
in honor of the Kukui tree; symbol of enlightenment, protection, peace, and light.

From Olelo No‘eau #695 "He kiu ka pua kukui na ka makani"

The kukui blossoms are a sign of wind. When the kukui trees shed their blossoms, a strong wind is blowing. A flowering plant is more than just a symbol of beauty, it plays a central role in plant reproduction, allowing for the transfer of genetic material and the production of seeds that will give rise to the next generation. Thus the flower represents the continuation of the plant's genealogy.
